The full-size Studio Package includes the 72″ Lightboard Classic on its mobile steel frame, the Studio Backdrop Set (two matte black suede drapes on an adjustable Neewer stand), two Neewer 660 bi-colour LED lights with stands, four Neon Quartet dry-erase markers, a squeegee, foaming glass cleaner, and free expert training. The Space Saver version swaps the freestanding backdrop for twenty wall-mounted panels.
Yes. The boards (Classic 72″ and Portable 50″), the Neewer presenter lights, both backdrop options, and all accessories are sold individually in our shop. The packages simply bundle them at a discount: almost $1,000 of equipment for $400 more than the board alone.
Two sizes. The Lightboard Classic (72″) has a 60″ × 45″ writing surface and costs $2,999 CAD; the Lightboard Portable (50″) is our desk-friendly board at $1,999 CAD. Both use 10mm low-iron Starphire architectural glass for maximum clarity and glow.
The glass is 10mm low-iron tempered safety glass. Low-iron glass removes the greenish tint found in standard glass, giving your markers vibrant, true-colour brightness on camera. And because it's tempered, in the unlikely event of breakage it fractures into small, safe pebbles rather than sharp shards.
Shipping & Delivery
Flat-rate $99 CAD delivery covers the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Oshawa, Hamilton, the Niagara area, and more) with professional assembly available at checkout. For other Ontario cities and provinces, contact us before ordering: boards travel as specialized freight, and we'll quote the safest, most cost-effective option to your address.
Every board is built, crated, and quality-checked to order in our Toronto workshop, and travels in a protective crate designed for freight handling. We confirm a realistic delivery window with your order and schedule your free training around it.
If your order arrives damaged, contact us right away and we'll make it right. Boards are built and crated to order, so talk to us before returning anything. Our returns policy and the 1-year structural warranty set out the full terms.
Setup & Technical
The camera faces you through the glass, so writing that reads normally to you is reversed in the raw footage. One horizontal flip fixes it: flip the finished recording in your video software, or flip the live feed in OBS or Logitech Capture before it reaches your recording or meeting app. You never have to write backwards. Our Setup Guide walks through the exact settings for the most common setups.
The Neon Quartet dry-erase paint markers included with every board (pink, yellow, green, and blue) glow most vividly against the illuminated glass. Dark-coloured markers won't show up. Each pen has a fine tip and a built-in ink gauge, and replacement sets are $32.99 CAD in our shop.
Water and the included squeegee lift fresh marker work in one swipe, and the premium foaming glass cleaner that ships with every board handles older or stubborn residue. Avoid abrasive cleaners and paper towels. The tempered glass shrugs them off better than acrylic would, but a squeegee is faster and streak-free.
Any DSLR, mirrorless camera, webcam, or smartphone with manual brightness control (ISO, aperture, shutter) works. The board lights its own glass from within, so your two studio lights point at you, the presenter, with barn doors keeping spill off the glass and backdrop. Then lower the camera brightness until only you and your glowing writing remain. Our Setup Guide walks through exact settings.
Yes. Flip your camera feed horizontally in OBS or Logitech Capture, then choose that program's virtual camera as your video source in Zoom or Teams. The flip has to happen before the meeting app, because Zoom's and Teams' own mirror settings only change your preview, not what participants see. Your writing then reads correctly for everyone while you write naturally, and we set this up with you during training.
Training & Support
Yes, with every Lightboard purchase, not just packages. Free on-site or virtual training with a dedicated Lightboard and videographer consultant covers setup, lighting, camera settings, editing, and a practice run of your first video. See our Training page for everything a session includes.
Every Lightboard includes a 1-year structural warranty covering the glass panel, frame, and edge-lit LED system against structural defects. Physical damage, improper installation, and cleaning with abrasive products are not covered. See the warranty page for full terms.
Yes. Delivery, assembly, and training are service options at checkout, with delivery at a flat $99 CAD across the GTA. Our team sets up the board, positions the lighting, and with training added, gets you through your first recording before we leave.
